We have years of experience caring for a wide variety of pets ranging from cat and dog to exotics and birds. Our knowledge comes from hands-on experience and keeping abreast with the latest in regards to healthy habits for your pet.
Puppy Companion Services
Puppies are something special, and as such, we take this aspect of our service very seriously. The first months of their lives are very important to feel content and established a good routine that will work for both of you. We will work with you and your new puppy to get things going.

Dog Walking
Dogs need their daily exercise, which helps them keep healthy and playful. If your schedule doesn’t allow it, yet wan to ensure your pet has its daily dose of exercise, we can take care of that for you.

Life happens in an instant. There are circumstances that may pull you away from your routine in a second. Lets us look after your pet while you take care of those circumstances.
Vacation Care Services
We can customize to your pet’s specific needs while you are away to enjoy that special holiday you have planned for. Most animals like to stay in the comfort of their own homes. Pet First Aid Certification
We keep our training up to date with all we need to know to assist your pet in case of emergency and till we reach their veterinary clinic.

Boarding
We provide boarding services upon request and pride ourselves to offer a spa-paw approach for every single one of our guests. We offer play time, walk, scheduled feedings and lots of nurturing love. We have indoor space and we can also take your pet to their grooming or vet appointments if needed (additional charges will apply).

Miriam is the owner of Pawtopia Pet Services. As far as she can remember, she grew up surrounded by pets ranging from bunnies to cats and dogs. One of the many values her family taught her is Animal Compassion. With that in mind, she has rescued many animals from the local shelters with the idea of saving a life.

After returning from a trip that included a safari excursion, she realized that being close to nature and caring for animals is what she enjoys the most. Leaving behind her corporate career, she decided to open Pawtopia. These days Miriam looks after Leo, a short hair tubby, a bearded dragon named Raphael and way too many rats to remember their names; her house has always being vibrant and full of life with all the “additional” family members.
Pawtopia offer its services to Ajax and surrounding area including Pickering, Whitby and Oshawa. We customize our services to your needs and those of your pet, so rest assure, you both are in good hands.

Cancellation Policy:
- 48 hours prior to check in date there will be no charge
- 24 hours prior to check in date there will be a 50% charge
- less than 24 hours to check in date there will be 100% charge
- During Christmas, New Years, Long weekends and March Break pre-payment is required to hold your reservation.
